Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose this course because PGDM was my option and I did some research In order to find out which was the best college. Everyone said that st Joseph's was a good option for higher studies. There are about 20 to 25 faculties for 180 students. There are a lot of job opportunities as well as internship opportunities in St Joseph's. All the faculties are very knowledgeable and are helpful every time. The term exams are moderate difficulty and regularly studying and preparing notes will help to pass the exams. The exams are conducted 2 times in a sem. There are totally 6 sems. There will be a mid-term exam usually out of 30 and final exam out 60.

Internships Opportunities

5

For 1st year students, it is compulsory to attend 2 months I internship. The college offers internship opportunities for students and those who don't get it through college opportunities can find out a company from outside. Companies like Morgan Stanley (50000), Goldman Sachs (30000), Bosch (10000), outlook, agile services, Vibgyor etc come for offering internship opportunities.

Placement Experience

5

From 2nd-year 4th sem students become eligible to sit for placements. Almost 98 to 100 percent of the students get placed by campus placement as many companies come to St Joseph's for offering job opportunities. Morgan Stanley, EY, Deloitte, Bosch, Goldman Sachs etc all offer job opportunities for about 7 to 10 students. The average package is 7 to 7.5 lakhs and the highest salary package offered this year was 22.5 p.a. My plan after getting a degree is to get my dream job through campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is 800000 and all other details regarding the course and fee structure will be given on their website. A lot of job opportunities and internship opportunities do come to the college and almost 98 to 100 percent of the students get placed. I am currently pursuing my PGDM and have not yet completed it. In 1st year it is compulsory to attend an internship for 2 months. A lot of companies like Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Outlook, Agile, Bosch many other companies do come for internships. Among this Morgan, Stanley gives the highest stipend 50000. The college scholarships for students in each sem if they are into 10 ranks.

Campus life is really good. There are many fests as well as many sports opportunities. All the books required for the course is available in the library itself for all the students. There are many clubs organised by the students. Many management fests like pinnacle, Chanakya etc are conducted by the college, All the amenities like PowerPoint presenter, Mike to reach out to all the students, a circular classroom so that the teachers can see all the students. Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage
