The experience in IIT Bombay is really good as it provides not only curriculum activities but also extra curriculum activities. It is a wonderful place to spend some time of your life and many people dream is to come here and dreams do come true. Wonderful infrastructure and a good environment to live in make it more wonderful to come here and pursue your degree.

GATE entrance exam brought me here. I got AIR 51 in the GATE exam CSE in 2014. All the toppers used to select IIT Bombay as their first choice which indicates how good a college it is. The reputation of this college made me choose this college.

The curriculum of the M.Tech course here is very flexible. Students have the right to choose the subject they wish to study as most of the subjects are electives. The faculty here is awesome and very helpful and it is the best place to gain good knowledge. The elective subjects can be chosen wisely which helps in deciding the area in which we need expertise.

For m.tech a stipend of Rs 12400 is available every month. A lot of internship opportunities are also available.

This the best college in India in terms of placements. Especially for a CSE student, the average package will be over 15 LPA. I got a place in ADOBE with a package of over 20lpa. There is almost a 100% placement record in IIT Bombay. There is a big placement team that helps us to prepare for the placements better and grab a good job. The college has the right to demand the companies to come to the colleges as they can find the best super brains in the college.

Mood Indigo is the biggest cultural fest in Asia and it is in IIT Bombay. People from different parts of the country come to watch, participate, and enjoy the fest. Techfest is also very good with very good opportunities for students. Each hostel is conducting lots of events providing students with immense opportunities. College is celebrating all the festivals.

As admission is mainly through the entrance, the fees are very feasible. For MTech admission, the fee is approximately 30000rs per semester including college fee, hostel fee, and mess fee which I think is very affordable. Some student's scholarships also can also be helpful.

I think most banks provide loans for paying the fees and the fees are pretty affordable also. Based on various exams the scholarships are also available which helps the students to avail themselves.

The college provides very good hostel facilities. The mess is handled by students so the food here is also good. The per-day cost of mess food is around 110rs and it is very good. All hostels have separate canteens also from which we can buy food. The food is vegetarian and the nonveg food is available as extras

The Alumni network is good and they used to conduct lots of activities throughout the year. A very good alumni network exists here and the senior students are very helpful.

For some subjects, the exam can be hectic and this exam structure is decided by faculty. Since we have the choice of selecting subjects, it doesn't matter much. For most of the subjects, there is a mid-semester and end semester examination which constitutes most of the grade. Some subjects have assignments and projects which also have high weightage in terms of grades. Some faculties conduct quizzes which is also important.

The faculty here is really good. The selection procedure for faculty here is very good so that only the best faculty will be here. Faculties are available in many research areas which helps the students to select different areas. The faculty here are mostly IITians or having done their graduation from MIT, Berkeley, Standford, etc.
