Remarks

The minimum eligibility of the course for BCA in GBU is 12th. You can find the application form from the GBU official website. GBU conduct the exam GBUCET. There is a Half fees structure for the SC/ST categories.

I choose this course because of my interest in Computer Applications. There is a good faculty-student ratio in our college. It is good qualified and quality teachers are provided by our University. The term exam was held on time.

Internships Opportunities

College does not provide any internships. You can take an internship from outside of a college. Teachers are very helpful in this matter. they will guide you and suggest a company and you can apply for an internship.

Placement Experience

If you are a good student and you are all aware of placement things then you can achieve a good placement. there is 70 to 80 percent of students are placed on-campus. I'm planning for an MCA and there is a good scope after MCA.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a fee hike in fee structure every year and the cost of the study is very low. There are many Public and private scholarships. You can feel any of them. University does not provide any type of scholarship.

Campus Life

Classrooms are very well maintained. There is an annual sports fest 'souryotsav'. And Abhivynjana every year. There is a Big library in our college with all books and journals. There are some music clubs, photography clubs etc.

Hostel Facilities

There is a easy registration process in hostels and the affordability of hostel is quit average. If you are in last year then you are allowed to stay outside. I recommend take a hostel you can enjoy your hostel life in average cost.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

The Good and the Bad about BBD University by a second year student

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

From the 5th sem we eligible for the campus placement, There are various highly-reputed companies that come for the placement such as Microsoft, Paytm, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, hcl, etc. Their average package is 2.2 lakh per annum And the highest package is 10 lakh per annum, The average of students for the placement is 80-90%. My plan is to get a good placement from there and to do a job for one or two years after that I will prefer higher education.
