Remarks
For getting into college one has to qualify in a national level exam known as Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) MAIN. After all the shifts of JEE MAIN the organization, NTA releases the result and students have to fill their choices based on their scores through JOSAA. After getting selected in JOSAA, we get a confirmation mail from the institute, and the rest procedures are taken care of by the college. Then the institutes call the students on campus for document verification and after all the documentation students are allocated to their hostels and the induction program starts.
Course Curriculum Overview
I selected the course because of my interest in electrical circuits. The branch is divided into two sections each section has around 60 students and we have 1 faculty per course. The teachers are all well qualified and experienced and help us in every problem be it academic or non-academic. The semester exams are not much difficult if the students study properly and listen to the classes. The pass percentage for each test is taken into consideration with the class average.
Internships Opportunities
The information given above are the feedbacks I got from my seniors: The percentage of placement for my course is more than 90 percent and overall around 95 percent. As I am a first-year student I don't know much about the placement procedures but the feedback from seniors seems quite satisfying. Top roles are in the CS domain, but for core, most of the students go for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee per semester for BTech course is Rs. 62500. Hostel fees are around Rs 10000. Mess fees per semester are around Rs 30000. There are scholarships available for each kind of student. There is also a fee remission for students in different income domains. Students whose family income is less than 1 lakh: full remission. Whose family income is between 1 to 5 lakh two-thirds remission is given.
Campus Life
I think our college has one of the best campuses in the country. It has an area of 300 acres with greenery. And above everything, we have a private beach at our college which makes it unique among all the colleges. The cultural fest is known as *incident* And the tech fest is *engineer*. The incident is considered to be 2nd largest college fest in India. There happen a lot of events other than these by activity clubs in the college which makes college life even more fun. The incident happens in the month of March.
