The most memorable time of my life

I have applied for UPES L-sat exam and cleared it, after that, I got a letter to attend the GD and personal interview. I applied for BCom LLB taxation. Honours. Admission in Upes is quite simple you have to appear in the ups law entrance exam and after clearing it you have to clear GD AND personal interview.

I chose this course because I was interested in taxation law and facilities are available for you in college as well as faculties share their personal number with students to be in touch with them off college also so there is no problem in that regard, and facilities are very much qualified as they are from different NLU'S and many are from UPES pass out only, they all are PhD or LLM and have teaching experience, as well as many teachers, we're practising lawyers in the past so they have a vast knowledge of the law. Term exams were simple if you pay attention in the class and study afterwards, but I used to study before exams and I still cleared them so they are easy.

Famous companies like Deloitte, hp etc visited and took students and many law firms also came and offered a nice package for students. The highest package was over 25 lakhs which one law firm have offered a student.

Students become eligible from the 5th year for the placements, there are many companies which visit this university every year and take a lot of students who wanted to take placement from the college, the highest package is above 25 lakhs, percentage of students who get placement is above 70 % for sure, I will practice law after getting my degree.

This college is more expensive than other law colleges but less expensive then Amity law school, My overall cost for living in dehradun and studying in college is around 15 - 20 lakh for 5 years. I didn't opt for job as i wanted to practice with my uncle who is a renowned advocate.

Campus Life is great and one of the best in India and it has a great infrastructure too, every year they invite a big celebrity in the fest like Hardy Sandhu and bands and famous DJ's, they are many activities going around every month around you and you will be entertained, there is a big library for all your needs with thousands of books and computers also, classrooms are smart classes with projectors and screens, AC rooms nice tables and chairs, they conduct many sports activities throughout the year for every sport you can imagine.

In the campus hostel, you will get many facilities. In rooms - 3 beds for 3 boys, 3 table and chairs with table lamps, canteen which have variety of foods available and hostel mess, the food in the mess is average and they make special food in the time of occasions such as Diwali Holi and believe me when. They make tasty food I can bet u have never tasted anything like it before in your life it was that tasty, every week laundry is done, there are medical facilities and doctors available 24/7 specially for hostel students, there are basket ball courts, football ground volleyball court, gym table tennis badminton etc .

There were different topics in GD like should there be capital punishment or not , make in India vs made in india and interview questions was like what's your hobby and why doing law and questions on your hobbies like if you are an athelete then my interviewer asked about world record of Usain Bolt and where is the high court of haryana is, only simple GK questions will be asked, it's an easy process to clear no worries.
