Entrance Preview
I did not give any entrance to get admission in pgdav. I got admission on behalf of my percentage which was quite good according to my course. Admission process hardly took 2-3 hours and i was done with everything , from form filling to fee submission in one day.
Course Curriculum Overview
Statistics is a really good, unique and difficult subject this time, burden on us has increased due to cbcs system, still i find my teachers really helpful and encourag ingfocussing on the research section, i don't really know about it , because i am still exploring.
Internships Opportunities
No , my college doesn't provide any internships initially for out course. But i guess the placement cell of the college is contacting companies to proive summer and winter internships for the students in order to give them a good experience.
Placement Experience
Placement cell of the college works really hard in providing oppurtunities to every student companies like Genpact, Aon Hewitt, E&Y, L&T place many of our college students every year with good packages. I would say that our college is still developing in this regard.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee for my course is quite expensive comparative to other courses as it includes lab charges too. For my course , the feel is 14300 per annum i think this s quiite affordable comparative to other colleges, specially the private ones but definately more expensive than oher delhi university colleges.
Campus Life
In my class,gender ratio is almost equal, but i see more of quota students, and since there is 1% concession on percentage for girls. There are more girls comparative to boyscultural socities are really good and you would get to learn a lot from there but i find it as a time waste rather.
Exam Structure
Exam structure is really chilled out. We give 2-3 tests per subject in a semester of almost 5-6 months, on the basis of which we get internal marks and they are quite scoring. I am happy , because our colllege doesn't spoon feed as compared to other colleges and it does also not give marks for free. Students have to study seriously for the tests , which i think is very important.
