Remarks
Students must have 55% or above marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 50% or above marks in one compulsory language. Merit will be calculated based on the aggregate percentage in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The official site of DU provides all the information regarding the application form and fees. I availed EWS reservation and the cutoff was slightly less for me.
Course Curriculum Overview
Chemistry seemed more fascinating to me than other subjects so I opted for Bachelor in Chemistry. We have 19-20 Professors and a class of 90 students. Our professors are extremely good and understanding. They all have doctorate degrees of course. Their method of teaching is transparent and excellent. Every single student is satisfied!
Internships Opportunities
470+ internships were offered to the 2021 batch this year itself. The highest stipend as I mentioned before was 80k and the average was around 9k. Companies also look for students who are interested in internships during fests.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost to study, by which I mean the fee, is 19600. There are very many scholarships provided by our college and the details on that can be accessed from the official page of Miranda House. The highest stipend for an internship on campus was 80 k and the average stipend was 8.9 k.
Campus Life
We have an annual fest called Tempest which takes place in February every year. Volumes and editions of every other book are available in our library. It's strictly dark academia too. The classrooms are spacious with huge glass windows thus extremely ventilated and well lit. There's a board and projector in every classroom. Toilets are hygienic as well. Miranda House has a huge playground and a basketball court. We have various societies functioning here. We also have clubs and cells run by students for students.
