College Life At VIT Chennai

The admission process of the college was very fluent.The details of the applications form, fees and application dates are available in VIT website. There is no reservations in the collage the students are given categories on the basis of the rank that they have scored in VITEEE.

The standard of the VITEEE entrance exam was very tough but not tough than JEE mains if you work hard you will be able to clash it . I I took ok Beta computer science engineering it is who was my dream to achieve it the faculty e of our college is extremely God since they help in every kind of difficulties in your college life the student ratio of the college is not good since there to many students but it in my class I had just 70 students but the college student ratio is too much if you talk about semester exam there are 3 exam termed as Cat 1 Cat 2 2 and fat 1 the difficulty of exam of semester are too difficult to do wait for the first year but you gradually cope up with others

Since I am first year student I haven't heard much about internship in our college but the preview which I heard from others was that the internship opportunity at our college is not so bad but it is media CA if you are very good you are 100% you will get internship wherever you are so don't be afraid of internship that you have to get only it doesn't matter too much for your future success

In our college there are many various company which come for placements such as TCS Microsoft Wipro HCL and etc the highest package which I heard from my senior was that 47 lakh per annum from Microsoft and the least package which had gone to approx 5 lakh and the average package which in the college was around 7 to 8 lakh the placement percentage in our college is around 90 to 95 percentage since many of them go for the studies and some go for entrepreneurship

I will be very true I did not get any scholarship and final assistance from the college the fee structure of VIT Chennai is divided into five category in the first category has fees of 12 lakh for 4 year in category 2 you have 16 lakh for 4 year and in category 3 you have 18 lakh for 4 year and in Category 4 and 5 you have to pay more than 20 lakh

The campus life of it is extremely good you will miss their life after college that's for sure we have different clubs we have grid infrastructure for which we it is also famous we have library which is of two floors and we have treat playgrounds for extra co curricular activities like cricket badminton table tennis inside the campus we have all Mart and Dominos 2

The hostel facility is very good but not as great as teaching faculty we have in our hostel for different type of bedroom when is 2 bedroom 3 bedroom 4 bedroom and 6 bedroom the food quality in hostel is very good as not good as your home food but much better than other colleges I haven't taken PG but some of my friend took PG thanks for them hostel fees was too much
