I take admission in this college through jee mains but we take admission in this college for wbjee and also take admission for management cota but I want to many improvement in fees payment college will only take fee by online and demand draft

Faculty members are good and well qualified they are very good and helping teacher-student and teacher ratio is 1:20 passing of semester exam is very difficult but 90% students passed semester but present time exam will be conducted online

Campus Life is nice. The library is full of many books u will prepare many exams for our job there are many social groups like NSS and many more many games we play like cricket football and many more games we play after 4 pm

Hostel fee of our college is around 27000 per semester and they provide 2 sitter room hostel food quality is normal but tasteless but u want to get pg u will get many places to take room like bidannagar bena chiti and many places

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

BCET Durgapur.Good campus but bad faculty and placement opportunities.

I say this earlier. First of all my JEE rank was little bit low, so I can't get any govt college. And at that time the CSE fees in almost every private college is arround 4 lakhs. But they asked high donation. Which was not affordable by my family. So I choose this college. Also I hear all private colleges are same.we have to do everything by ourselves.
