Remarks
Chanakya National Law University (CNLU) is one of the most popular colleges in India for Law. The admission is purely based on the CLAT test and after clearing the CLAT test I have to appear for the PI round in the college. The final admission is based on my CLAT test+academic record+performance in the PI round. The college also has MoUs with international universities and as well as national universities like Vistula University Poland, Fort Valley State University Georgia and Dashrath Manjhi Institute of Labour & Employment Studies (Patna).
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of the college is to the point and it covers all the modern legality aspects with world history as per law. The curriculum gives us a broader understanding of political science and world demographical areas as per the law. The faculty are highly qualified enough to be at National University. The professor helps us to understand the concept's practicalities. The college faculty is well trained and well aware of the latest changes in the judiciary system.
Placement Experience
The college also offers a placement service. The college has a record of 50-60% placement record why because most of us after completing LLB prefer to opt for personal practice and very few take part in the college placement drive. The highest salary offer was around 9 LPA average salary offer was around 3.50 LPA. RDA Legal Kolkata, RR Sahaya & Associates Patna, RSA Law Consultants, Athena Law Firm, AK Singh & Associates, Trust Legal Law Firm, Quislex, Eden Group, etc were among the names of the firms that took part in the college placement drive.
Campus Life
The college campus life is quite activity-oriented and we get the opportunity to serve the society through various activities the college organises like blood donation camps, tree plantation, environmental awareness, child rights programmes, health care programmes, etc and many more. The college library has more than 14000 books which are very useful in understanding world politics and international law and many international journals are also available in the college library. The college also has a research centre which gives us a good opportunity to learn something new and important through centres like the Centre for Advanced Research on Corporate and Insolvency Laws (CARCIL), Child Rights Centre in collaboration with UNICEF.
