Remarks

The admission process is very simple, we need to fill out an online form and then wait for the merit list. Reservation of seats is not a part of the college. If you get around 80% you will easily get your desired course.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are a total of 180 students divided into 2 sections, each having 90 students. The faculty members are very well qualified and very supportive. The exams are taken on a semester basis, along with internal exams.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are very affordable and very less compared to the other colleges. The price remains the same throughout the course. The college also provides certain scholarships to the students which help them financially.

Campus Life

The campus is very big and our annual fest is one of the main attractions for the first year students. sport is an inaugural part of the college, certain sports tournaments are organised by the college every year.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
