The faculty is kinda friendly with students
Class are on time no or minimum dealay by the teacher
Teacher didn't has any kind of ego in our department of commerce

The counter gys are to harsh with the student
The management of registration is not that good is just terrible
If teacher is absent no information is provided by the college Even in cancelled classes

Course Curriculum Overview

It good maintain as teacher are regular and classes are done in regular basis but also the teacher aren't providing the correct information About the examination of our internals as it was too sudden and we got to knew by the website not by the teacher

Class Size: 140Course Fees: INR 41000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't get to know about any scholarship by the college but the fees structure is lower than any other private colleges as it only 42000 for 3 years of course and exam charges are about 400 all paper so it it good enough in terms of affordability

Campus Life

The campus is good enough as it has basketball court but full of Park cars and also has football ground but full of large grass and it has cricket net for practicing but it fine. And it located near ganga river so it stay college most of the time

Admission

I chose this college as it is in short distance from my home any I got to know that it is the best college in barrackpore so I just joined it and also some of my friends are also joined it and i don't have any other choice

Faculty

The faculty of commerce is good teacher provide all the instructions about the syllabus marking etc but on the other hand the teacher are not providing any information about how the question in exam it too early for exam as it about one month I have joined college but have exam in just two week of time in the internal exam there was 2 question and a assignment for the 20 marks

Night Life

It is located in barrackpore cantonment area und air force so ther are no shops near it so night Life is not good but it is clean and green area goo for students health at some distance there is a place called fairy ghat which is near ganga there are some shops but not many

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

I had applied to chandanagar goverment college i got confoirmed for only Barrackpore rastraguru surendranath college i choose this college over others beacuse i was only selected for this college i had applied for only two Yes i got rejected from chandannagar goverment college i was not in the merit list may be because of cutoff of 70% The Admission procces is first go on college website and register and after registration merit out amd tou get selcted cutoff is 60% the overall admission procces was easy...Read More

Likelihood inside Rastraguru Surendranath college.

Actually I have not applied for any other colleges except this one as it is near as compared to other colleges and after listening to a few passed out students I am well aware about their placements and opportunities. The addmission in our college is based on merit score that is the score you got in your 12th exam. After all students have done their application the college prepare a merit list based on your score and the admission takes place according.
