Remarks

First, the college was running on a different campus, first, it started in NIT Hamirpur. But now it has its own campus in district saloh. So about 60 percent of construction is done. The infrastructure is very good. There are triple bed sharing rooms. Faculties are good but not excellent (I mean some are excellent).

Course Curriculum Overview

My college provides only one course that's why I chose only one course. In a semester CYCLE TEST 1 CYCLE TEST 2 END SEM EXAM It is difficult to pass exams, especially physics. You have to work on latex for physics lab files.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, before 2-3 back there were many students who couldn't get internships. But from now on I can see almost all seniors getting the internship on LINKEDIN. Students are getting into good companies as well on off-campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

In my opinion, fees are right, because the institution is now in the construction phase they need the phase. But still, in between, they increased the fees so Students complained about it and it was decreased by 1-2 thousand not much.

Campus Life

We haven't been to campus the classes are going online, the college is in the construction phase. Library, gym, and grounds are not made yet. Some hostel, mess, classes are completed I think. It will take time to develop social clubs

Placement Experience:

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

yes they povide placements. After 6th sem, means in 7th sem you are eligible for placement and apply for companies based on their requirements. Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.
