I appeared in JEE Main 2015 and scored 165 marks. I also appeared in BITSAT and JEE Advanced but could not pass the examination. According to my rank I could get admission in any of the colleges except IITs, NITs but I choose L.D.College of engineering because it is the best and the oldest of the institutions with best lab facilities and all the machineries needed for the course which other colleges do not have.It also has PhD level faculties eager to help you during the course. Lastly it the best placement records among all other institutions.

The faculties are really helpful and never deny any kind of help. They help solve problems and build engineering projects. They build concepts in the mind of students and teach students with passion and energy. Mostly all the faculties are pursuing PhD and some are doing Masters in engineering.

For internship in engineering we ourselves have to find a company and do internship there for 8 to 12 months. The college indeed helps us in finding and approaching the company for internship. The average stipend is Rs 3000 -8000 depending on the work and company.

In my field i.e. Electrical engineering, 45+ students were placed through campus out of 120 students The companies offer a salary ranging from 2-8 lakhs per annum. The companies and their packages are as follows: Reliance - 5 lakhs, GSFC - 8 lakhs, Torrent power - 2.5 lakhs, L&T - 3.5 lakhs, TCS - 3 Lakhs.

There are technical festivals like Robocon which is conducted at national level. Also Techfest is conducted at state level. Cultural festivals include the famous LAA Garba.Also other events are organized every Friday to develop skills among the students.

The fees are to be paid every semester. The fees amount to approximately Rs 2100 which include tuition fees, Library fees, Gymkhana fees, etc. The university fees Rs 750 are to be paid separately every semester.

Yes, There are many scholarships offered by government and L.D.college.One is for those having income less than 6 lakhs they don't have to pay tuition fees of the college, Secondly you get Rs 2.5 lakh as scholarship if you score more than 80% in 12th standard.

As it is engineering college girls are few in number like 15 girls amongst 100 boys. There is no casteism or racism. Girls are safe in the campus. The extracurricular activities are excellent and help in your overall progress. The economic status of students is average. There is no kind of politics going on among the the students or between faculties.

The hostel is very good and kept clean. The fees of hostel are very nominal as it is a government college.The fees for hostel room are 1200 Rs / year excluding food for which you have to pay 30Rs for food in mess. There are enough seats but in case you don't get admission in hostel then for PGs you have to pay Rs 3500- 4000 per month depending on hostel.

The Mid semester Exams are conducted in every semester. Also external viva and internal Viva is conducted in the college. The lab sessions are conducted 3 days a week and are fully equipped with instruments.
