Remarks
I filled out the application form online which were available on the official site of Delhi University (du.ac.in) After that the cut-offs were out for each college and individual courses which are there in the colleges under DU. I got admitted to this course as I have applied for it and my percentage of PCM was above the general category cutoff. There are different cut-offs for a particular reserved category. The admission procedure was so easy as the simple guidelines were shared by the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course Industrial Chemistry is about the daily applications of the chemicals used in the industries. The preparation, mechanism and green methods are focused. The faculty members are very well qualified and they are experienced & supportive and help you whenever in need. The exams are held on a semester basis and if you focus in class you can pass the exam very easily.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies came for internship opportunities all year. Some of them were unpaid while others were providing stipends from Rs 1000 to Rs 15000 a month. KalpGuru, Admitkard etc came for internship and are also available for pre-placement offers to some students. Roles were basically of Marketing, Sales or content writing.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is paid annually which is approx 25000 a year and it is worth it because the quality of education is great. You get detail oriented study about each subject. You can avail the scholarship and financial assistance opportunity by applying for it and submitting the proper documents asked. Also, you can get money prize if top your departmental exams.
Campus Life
There are various societies that are managed by students themselves. Some of those are NSS, NCC, Dance, Music, Art, Drama, Sports etc. Students can also join the individual society of their own department. Classrooms have all the basic facilities and proper benches, boards. The library of our college is the largest with a huge amount of books. The annual fest is SABRANG which is organised in March every year.
