Remarks

NIT Jalandhar is among the best engineering college in India plus the cutoff list of the college is also not too high. The admission in the college is done through the JEE entrance to qualify JEE is mandatory. I applied for the college from the college website and appeared for the JEE exam when the result was declared I was able to meet the college cutoff after that I have to submit my academic marks and documents for verification and within a week I received the mail for admission confirmation.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of the NIT college is one of the best. NIT Jalandhar curriculum is according to the latest industrial development and to the point. The curriculum is very broad and helps us to understand all the engineering programs and fundamentals. I found that the college does not compromise the faculty quality and there is nothing to complain about the college faculty. The faculty is well trained and their industry related knowledge is very good.

Internships Opportunities

The internship program of our college is very good we are provided with very good opportunity to work with technology companies to excel our skills and to learn new things.

Placement Experience

Our college offers very good placement opportunities and the college placement packages are also very good. The college also maintains a very good record of 90-95% placement status. The college placement committee and the management work together for the betterment of the placement. The highest placement offer of the college was up to 30 LPA and the average salary offer was around 14 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college also offers very good scholarships through various schemes like Merit-cum-Means Scholarship, Merit Scholarship, National Scholarship for ST/SC, Post-Matric Scholarship, Dr Partap Singh Memorial Scholarship, Siemens India Scholarship for the 1st year engineering students, Dr M Sen Memorial Scholarship.

Campus Life

The college infrastructure is very good. Our college life is very good and we get lots of opportunities to socialize with friends. The college also offers sports facilities like a volleyball court, basketball court, badminton court, table tennis facility, Hockey, Kho-kho, Kabaddi ground. The college library is also very good. The campus also has an ATM facility. The medical facility is also available on the college campus. The cafeteria is very good and the food in the cafeteria is very tasty.

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Why I chose LPU ?

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

All about my college

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

An honest Insight of my college LPU

Placement Experience:

Good College, Placement and Great Infrastructure and Facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

From four semester we start getting internships from various companies depending on student skills ,but regularly in 6th/7th sem we can ppo's pre-placement offer In cs department students are enjoying an average annual package of 17LAKH while in EC department, students are enjoying an average annual package of 13.5LAKH IN CS DEPARTMENT the placement percentage is nearly 91% while in ECE department placement percentage is nearly 97%

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
