Remarks

The days i spent in this college transformed me from the casual attitude to the professional attitude. College is just brilliant,if you ask me that "would i send my kid to the same college " My answer would be YES".

Entrance Preview

I took KMAT exam and score 95.9 percentile. by KMAT you can get into any vtu college and pesit college falls into kmat exam. PGCET and KMAT are the entrance exams one must clear to get admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Well MCA course curriculum includes all most all types of programming languages which helps a lot while going to placement cell. C,c++,sql, java, ajax, web, etc. The way they make us learn via practicals gives the sheer confidence which one must have.

Internships Opportunities

Yes they do provide internship but i havent heard of any stipend its about all you learn.

Placement Experience

4

There are many companies which comes for placements Like Google,Flipkart,Direct i, Amazon all tier 1 companies with packages of 10+ lack per annum. Tier 2 companies like - akamai, zopnow etc. Tier 3 companies for mass recruitements Infosys,Accenture,Wipro,Toshiba etc.

College Events

3

Maaya fest is the annual intercollegiate techno cultural festival hosted by PES Institute of Technology,Bangalore South Campus. Almost from every college the students come and participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its a bit expensive if you are not from Karnataka, 1,45000 per year else its just 60000-80,000 this But all the money you spend is worth it. Fee structure is feasible or expensive just depends on the person. College has bus service and as well as Hostel.

Fees and Financial Aid

Not heard of any scholarship or loan facility offered by the college, but you can still contact them. Its just one phone call away.

Campus Life

2.5

Campus life is really cool students, faculties and even Hods are all very friendly. About Gender Ratio it depends on the particular course Btech cs- 40 : 60 ratio is male and female extracurricular activities are like Chess,Cricket,Football but not that popular in here. Because students dont get too much time to play around as of hectic exam schedules.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel facilities are great they have spacious rooms with wardrobe,Table and a chair. Cafeteria or mess cooks are from Nepal. They cook great food. 80000 per year is the fee for hostel,Girl's hostel is separated from the Boy's hostel. Boy's hostel building is just inside the campus where as the Girl's building is nearby college.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network i have heard is rare, this is my personal opinion but the immediate seniors are very helpful. They do share their placement cell's experience which helps a lot.

Exam Structure

Very hectic, they will litterally make you study. If you like a college to enjoy your days, then try Dayananda college. But for Learning and placements Pesit rocks. Every now and then they gonna keep you busy with assignments, internal tests, Lab test, sem exams.

Faculty

3.5

Faculties are just great, they have a very clear understanding about what they are teaching, No books, notes or ppts are needed they just come and start showering their "gyaan". The Department's head - Dr Arti Arya is really helpful and highly skilled. So are the other faculties.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are average. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 2nd semester. Some companies visit the college and offer jobs in different roles. The average package is around 3-4 LPA and the highest package depends on the company. After completing my degree, I plan to get a good job and gain experience in my field

Placements are good...lot of my friends got placed. But it even depends on individual intrests. At starting you get paid less but later on experience u can earn more. In case if placement doesn't happen you will still have the chance to explore outside.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MCA course curriculum is well structured, relevant, and comprehensive. It covers core computer science subjects such as programming, data structures, databases, software engineering, and practical lab work, which influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a strong foundation for both real-world applications and further academic pursuits. With the support of good and experienced faculty, concepts are explained clearly through theory, practical sessions, assignments, and projects. Exams are conducted on a semester basis with internal assessments and end-semester examinations. The frequency and timing of exams are appropriate, and the difficulty level is moderate. Students who attend classes regularly and follow faculty guidance can perform well.
