Eligibility criteria are based on jee advanced rank. The application form and other details can be found on the main website. I am from obc ncl and I got benefits in fee and seat accommodations. The admission process is basic yet good and healthy.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am so interested in chemical engineering since my intermediate. I know that it is not only chemistry but a mixture of maths physics and chemistry. The faculty and student ratio is healthy i.e there are around 20 faculty members for 100 students. Faculty should be having a specific qualification in their desired field with Ph.D. Exams were on a scale of moderate to difficult and term exams were conducted with a healthy gap in between.
Internships Opportunities
Many psus offer internships for our college. Mostly ongc hpcl Gail and iocl and sometimes mrpl etc will give internships. Our fourth-year batch will have many projects to be done based on various topics. But mostly iipe focuses on the energy sector.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure varies for general obc and SC, st. But it has a regular fee structure as of other iits. I got a scholarship for tuition fees. Also, I didn't apply for a hostel so yeah it's pretty affordable else hostel fee adds some burden to our fee. Most of the internships provided by iipe are in psus with no stipend
Campus Life
We have many fests but corona ruined this 1 year so hopefully, we will get more soon. Else we have cultural technical sports fest and many more. The library is healthy with a decent number of books for all purposes. As the college is in au we use grounds of au only. There are many clubs in iipe which are basic and necessary.
