Remarks

VNIT has a beautiful campus called lust green campus. It has a strong alumni base. Various events take place around the year like Axis, Aarohi, Cultural nights, freshers, etc. There are various clubs for different types of activities. Placements were also improving year by year. You will get many opportunities in the research area.

Course Curriculum Overview

Depends upon the subject and professor. There are various courses available for research and jobs purpose. Every teacher has their own way of teaching. All professors are Ph.D. scholars. In the case of online, there will be one midterm and final exam.

Class Size: 108Course Fees: INR 66850 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships will be started from the 3rd year. Companies like Goldman Sachs, accenture, oracle, CITI, Hilti, Fractal analytics, cairn oil and gas and many other companies has visited for summer internships. The stipends will be vary from Re. 30000-80000 per month for above listed companies. Majorly internship will be of two months.

Placement Experience

From starting of the 4th year the companies will start to visit the campus. Companies like Amazon, Accenture, Goldman Sachs, TCS, etc visited the campus last year. The jobs offer will be differ. Placement percentage is higher for computer science branch. You can try for different sector of jobs or can go for higher studies

Fees and Financial Aid

You can get a scholarship from central government or scholarship from your state government. In these corona times the college was providing financial assistance to students who lose their earning parent.

Campus Life

There are various clubs and festa, like Axis which is techfest. Aarohi which is a cultural fest etc. Axis is central India's biggest fest. There are various clubs for singing, dance, astronomy, photography, etc. New hostels were good.

Hostel Facilities

1st year will be provided new hostel blocks. The rooms were clean and good. There will be a common room on every floor. There will be TV, table tennis, carroms, badminton, etc. Food can be made better. While taking the admission in the college we can apply for hostel room also.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

There are placements in the college, but the company select only few like from hundreds they select only 9 to 10 students which are capable enough according to the standard who have done internships and have some experience in their field as the companies don't want to teach them from the starting

College review for better selection for better opportunities in future

Placement Experience:

From 4th Year students are eligible for campus placements. The companies that visites my college campus are accenture, capgemini, tcs and many more . The highest package students get places are 12-14 Lakhs per annum and average pakage is around 4-5 lakhs per annum . The percentage of students get places is around 60-80% and majority of them are from CE and IT . Many of them try to get placed from off campus due to their desired companies they want to join or they want more packages

SAKEC- best college ever

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

It is a great college for learning

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.

My Experience at VNIT Nagpur

I had Applied to Vit pune and I am getting Ai and DS there but my dream was to get an NIT so I dropped my decision and can to VNIT. I did not get any rejection from there I just rejected that college over NIT. The addmission process to get in at VNIT Nagpur is very simple you just have to go through JEE mains Exam and have to secuse atleast 96 percentile if you are an general candidate. I wanted to do Mechanical engineering.I have applied to top NIT's like Trichy ,warangal,rourkel and VNIT. I finally got vnit mechanical in the 3rd round of JOSAA councilling.
