The Eligibility for getting admission into BU for M.A. English is a graduation degree in any course from a recognized university or institution. The admission is done on the basis of marks scored in bachelors. The application form is available on the official website of the University. There is a concession in marks for candidates belonging to SC, ST.
Course Curriculum Overview
I opted for this course from BU because I have done a B.A. English hons. from the same university. The faculty-student ratio is 1:40. The professors for PG courses are highly qualified. Many professors are holding Ph.D. degrees in their respective fields. The exams depend upon the university. It releases the academic calendar and based on it the exams take place. The teaching method of the professor is good, and because of this, it becomes easy for students to understand the concepts.
Placement Experience
The master's students are allowed to take part in the placements from the 3rd semester. Various companies such as HDFC, Axis Bank, Swiggy, Zomato, etc visit University every year for placement purposes. The average package offered to the students by the company is INR 4LPA and the minimum package offered is INR 2LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for M.A. English is INR 10,200 which includes the library, academic, and other fees also. There is no hike policy in the university. Bundelkhand University provides scholarships to the students who are eligible for it and provide loans to the students who actually need the help.
Campus Life
Sports day, Industrial visits take place in the University. BU has many social, welfare, clubs that are organized by the students of the university. The infrastructure of the college is good. There is a huge hall, classrooms, ground, central library in the University.
