Remarks
Eligibility:- 40% minimum marks in the 12th exam from any recognized board and a valid JEELET or JEE rank card. The application form is available at College's official website and you can also get the offline form from our college campus at Durgapur. There is some financial help scheme for the students of the Reserve category.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have taken this course as an opportunity to learn about electrical equipment and get a good job in the company. We have 8 faculties and 45-90 students in every class. All faculties are highly qualified with Mtech and PhD degrees. The semester exams are twice in a calendar year.
Internships Opportunities
Tata power internship is for six months with a CTC of 18k per month. Pinnacle signs a 2 years bond with students for an internship with a stipend of 14k months. Generally companies like Tata Power, GE power works on the Improvement of power supply and generation In India. Minsole Limited works in Mining work.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campusing from the final year that is the 7th sem. Minsole limited, Pinnacle are the companies that visited our college many times. The highest package offered by Tata power is 4 Lakhs per Anum The lowest package is 2.5Lakhs per Anum The average package is 3Lakhs per Anum. 80% of students get placement every year. My plan after getting the degree is to get a job in a good electrical company.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total college fees for three year lateral course is 120000-170000 and for four year regular course is 300000-350000 excluding canteen and hostel fees. We have Asha Jyoti, Swami Vivekananda Scholarship etc.
Campus Life
Annual tech fest, Edu fest, Student-Alumni fest, Annual sports are organized every year in November. All types of books are available in our library. We have a large classroom with a projector setup. We have a large playground for all types of outdoor sports. We have NSHM cultural and social club available on Facebook or Instagram.
