Remarks

IIT in India requires no introduction; we all know that IIT adheres to the best educational standards available to any student. NIRF ranked the college 6th and 5th for its MBA programme in 2019 and 2020, respectively. Without a doubt, being a Kolkata native, I chose IIT Kharagpur since I knew I couldn't pick a decent college than IIT Kharagpur. Admission is based on a CAT score, and students must receive a minimum of 60% (55 percent for SC/ST/PWD) in any discipline, followed by a GD/PI round.

The programme is developed to harness professional talents and gain the finest in class education, and it fulfils all of the highest industry standards. Classrooms are large and well-ventilated, and the size of the class allows professors to focus on each student individually.

Everyone knows about IIT placements. IIT provides a wide range placement opportunities for deserving candidates. Throughout our batch placement drive, a total of 80 companies came to our campus, and everyone got a nice package. Some of the prominent names that participated in the placement drive were ITC, Accenture, Wipro, Google, Microsoft, and Infosys. Our batch's highest package was 22 LPA, while the lowest was 14 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for the programme is a little expensive and hence, the college offers certain financial aid options along with scholarships to students. The fee structure for the course sums up to a total of 8.95 lakhs. College offers merit-based scholarships. Scholarships are available to SC/ST/PWD students through a variety of scholarship programmes. Campus Life

I think IIT Kharagpur's campus life is one of the best. Throughout the year, you'll be kept busy by a few regular tournaments and events. Robosoccer, Kshitij, Tech Fest, and Spring Fest are just a few of the events and festivals that enable you enjoy and learn about India's cultural variety.

Placement Experience:

The placement record in my college is preety good. 80-90% students are already placed this year. Average package is around 9.5lpa. Companies like ICICI, KPMG, PWC, Vedanta, Mother Dairy and so many are coming for recuiting students.

Placement is a race here. Handfull of good companies with good roles will come but they take good chunk of students. So be prepare for that and don't worry about getting good companies, here many companies offers better packages than those good companies.

Placements are good sometimes but not exactly sure because some batches are not placed somes are placed or somes are not then they trying to get placement for own if i talk about the percentage of placement then i would say 60% not 100%,for 3rd semester students are eligible for placement & one terms is here that is 75% attendance is mandatory for getting placement, i have visited 3-4 companies & they offer 3.7-4 lpa package,my plan after getting the degree, firstly i looking for a company around 4-5lpa package then i started to develop my self

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course only because of our HOD, but after completing my course, he left the course. He has helped us with all the things like web development and seo skills. By doing it practically for every student, he offers a domain for every student. I had difficulty with Google Ads & meta ads because it was taught by another faculty. The exam times were different by 3 months.

Placement Experience:

Till now I am seeing in my own eyes that in previous year, there is a 270 student in marketing and now right now the 15 student left to place and rest of the team are already placed to a many companies like ENYF Flipkart in Bandan Bank ICICI bank in a mini sector in FMCG also and FMCT also, but and retail, but I told that the ratio of placement is too higher than other college and also giving the good package is. The main thing with the job rule should be maintain the package.

Last semester students become eligible for campus placements. Name of the companies visited - TCS, WIPRO, MICROSOFT, TATA, IBM , AMAZON etc. 51,00,000/yr highest package and average package 5,50,000 as per company and profiles offered. 97% students are getting placements. Students are eligible for campus placements from the fifth term. 300+ companies visit the campus to recruit 500 students. The highest package is 70LPA and the Average package is 20LPA. 100% placements. after getting the degree students will join the recruited companies.
