Great experience in VIT

The admission to this college is based on the JEE Mains score. This is done on a priority-based(The students who get the marks in JEE higher would be preferred). In order to apply for this college, we should qualify 10th, 12th and also the JEE Mains exam. We can find the application form in the college portal. The application fee back then was 1300 rupees. There is no need for improvement in the admission process.

I have chosen this course as I always wanted to learn to code. The faculty and the student ratio is about 1:20 in the college. All the faculty are very highly qualified and all of them are well equipped with the knowledge required to teach the subject. The teaching method was used to be in offline mode and by using the projector and screen. The exams were moderate to pass.

From the 6th semester, the students will be eligible for the placements. Many companies visit this college for placements including MNCs like Google, Microsoft, eBay, Amazon etc. Most of the students get placed in IT majors like Accenture, Cognizant and Infosys etc. A total of around 600 companies visited the college for placements and total job offers are around 6000. The highest package is 44lpa and the average package is 6.1lpa. ALmost 70% of the students get placed in the campus placements. My plan after the degree was to become a back-end developer and I have achieved my goal.

The fees of the college are around 115000 per academic year. This fee does not include the hostel fee. There is a fee hike in the college i.e., the academic fee of the college increased by 5500 in my third year. The cost to study is not so high and not so less. We can also avail of the scholarship based on the result of the VITEEE exam that is conducted by VIT University.

There are many fests that are conducted in this college for various events. The annual day is conducted by the management of the University in the month of March every year. There are also many tech fests like graVITas and techno vit. These tech fests give an opportunity for the students in order to prove their talent. The library in the college is very large and it contains around 60000 books in it and it has a specialized collection of books and journals in it. The classrooms are digitalized and they are maintained neat. it also has the amenities like a projector and screen. All the kinds of sports are allowed to play on campus and the University also conducts sports competitions. Vibrance is the National level two day cultural fest that is conducted by the University in 2019. There are also many social groups in the college in order to learn new skills like music, dance, singing etc.
