12th pass student can apply for this course by giving entrance exam like Wbjee, jee main And diploma pass can take admission in 2nd-year lateral entry by giving Jelet entrance exam. Wbjee entrance exam held after 12 board examinations. Application fees wbjee is 500 when l was given the wbjee and jee main entrance exam application fees is 600 for each phase. All departments in my college have seat reservations for obc, sc, st, PWD and tfw categories. The admission process is the same no change is come in the admission

I choose this course CSE in this college because my home is Siliguri and college at coochbehar So college is near from my home and easy to come by travelling bus and train. All faculty have an average of 70 student capacity. In all faculty, teachers are good and help students with any study problems. Exam papers are not very though. If the students study daily 1hr they can easily pass.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure: per semester 6000 for Cse and Ece branch, per semester 3000 for Ce, me and Ee Branch in our college. Many students get scholarships like the swami Vivekanand scholarship, oasis Scholarship etc.

Campus Life

In every year tech & fest happens. The name of the last tech fest held is TECH-O-BER in 2021. In the library books are available for all sem and one can get 2 books only from the library but book renew date is days period is short. In every classroom and lab projector is available. Football, cricket, volleyball and badminton. The playing ground is a very large area. In college, many clubs are available like Arts Club., debate club etc.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
