Remarks

Through wbjee.Form fee was 500. Reservation benefits are given to only the west Bengal domicile. The application form is provided on the official website of West Bengal. The eligibility criteria are 75 percent in boards and passing in all three courses.

Course Curriculum Overview

I like it because it is very interesting and exciting and challenging to switch to the switch off. All the teachers are friendly and the teachers are PhD or gold medalists. There are Four Internal theory papers and two Internal practicals.

Internships Opportunities

Amazon is offering various internships with very good stipends. Many Service based company used to visit our college and get a good number of college students here all the students are satisfied by third placements. I am doing an internship from NASA

Placement Experience

The candidates are getting placed from 5 semesters and can start their jobs from the 8th semester. The placement is good average CTC offered is 6.2 LPA. The students here are very rude The company offering packages are from TCS.

Fees and Financial Aid

Hectic fees. The scholarships provided by the college is very good. Many scholarships are provided by the college like Education loans @4% interest and Drcc approved loans are also there for students and Loans from the state government.

Campus Life

There is a Big library for students so that they can get free books and study throughout the semester. All the books are either new or readable. There are many sports happening in the college like Cricket And Football and Khoko and I the National level Khoko player.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

BCET Durgapur.Good campus but bad faculty and placement opportunities.

I say this earlier. First of all my JEE rank was little bit low, so I can't get any govt college. And at that time the CSE fees in almost every private college is arround 4 lakhs. But they asked high donation. Which was not affordable by my family. So I choose this college. Also I hear all private colleges are same.we have to do everything by ourselves.
