VIT Bhopal honest review

Students need to give VITEEE entrance exam for admission to the college. Based on their ranking few structures will decide. I chose Integrated Mtech in AI because I'm very inquisitive and passionate about automation and ML. In vit bhopal, almost all the teachers are PhD holders and Supportive as well. Yes, some teachers have less teaching skills but they are very supportive and try their best. They also motivate students to explore their ideas and build new projects and help us as well. The curriculum is relevant and surely help in placement. The best part of vit is ffcs( Fully Flexible Credit System). From the starting onwards in each semester, you will get a chance to choose your own faculty and make your own timetable. Semester exams depend on faculty to faculty. After 1st year, almost in each semester you will get one project. If 3 exams are occuring in a semester then we have to get min 80/200 (50+50+100) marks, if 2 exams are occurring then we have to get 60/150 (50+100) marks for pass the course.

College offers internships from the start of 3rd, till 3rd year you can also apply by yourself. Many multinational companies like Adobe, Amazon, Gap, Intel etc. come for SDE, consultant role internships, students are shortlisted based on CGPA and can apply for further rounds. Stipend totally depends on the company it varies from 10k to 1 lakh per month.

Students are legible for placements from the start of the fourth year. More than 400 companies come every year including companies like Microsoft, Amazon, etc. The highest package is 45 LPA of students got selected in Microsoft. For the 2018 batch, there is 100? placement.

Students who secured a good rank in the VITEEE exam get up to 100% scholarship. Students need to pay college fees semester wise or they can also pay monthly. The First Batch placement was held in 2020-21 during the pandemic and it was quite well. Many students got high placements in multinational companies. Yes, for 2017 batch placement rate is not so good. The average placement is up to 4.5 LPA but for the 2018 batch it is better and students get placed in companies like Microsoft, Amazon etc with the highest package of 45 LPA. The average package of the students is 6 LPA.

Infrastructure wise college is pretty well. The library contains books that are necessary for our academics and also contains storybooks, magazines, newspapers etc. Classrooms are well maintained. Mess, canteen, medical facilities are good but yes they will be better. Annual fest ADVITYA is organised every year in which students can take part in technical and cultural competitions. Every month some clubs organise events. On our campus, they provide enough space for sports activities handle by sports club.

There are 3 boys' hostels out of which 1 is under construction and one girls' hostel. The quality of facilities provided in the hostel is good enough. 2,3,4,6,8 bedded rooms are available with AC/Non-AC option. The mess is hygienic, and the food quality is also good. Mess, canteen, medical facilities are good but yes they will be better.

ÀIn our college, there is no group discussion session and interview for admission. Students just need to give VITEEE exam for admission. The admission process is super smooth, they call us for admission and take the required documents and also introduce the benefits of each course and upcoming scope.
