Real Insights of PGDAV Evening College

The person who will be eligible for this course should have mathematics subject in their 12th. The application form will be provided on the du website, the college website and also the fees and dates will be shown there. There is a reservation for SC, OBC, ST, EWS and others details of this reservation will be provided along with the cutoff sheet. There is a 1% reservation for girl students. The admission process is overall fine but I suggest that the process should be in a manner so that it will save time. I had chosen this course because I belonged to a commerce background and after doing this course there will be many opportunities available in commerce background. The faculty is very good. They're punctual, intelligent, friendly, cooperative and their teaching manner is also impressive. There are almost 30 students in each class. Most of the faculty are highly qualified such as CA, CMA, CS, PhD, MBA etc. Their teaching style is very impressive they make the concept very easy to understand by co-relating the syllabus with the real world. The exam is held every 6 months (semester wise) and I must say that exams will be difficult if you don't read the syllabus regularly.

The placements are for last year's students. Deloitte, Wipro was the main recruiters last year. This year Investor's Clinic visited our college for the placements. The highest package till now is 15 Lakh per annum for the commerce and science students. There are no such percentage criteria for placements. The placement is mainly based on these skills, intelligence level and how well you performed in the interview. My plan after graduating from this college is to pursue M.COM from DU.

The fees are very normal as compared to other colleges. Academic fees will be around 15-18K/Yr. Conveyance will be around 5-8k/Yr. If you live in any pg/ flat that will cost you around 1,50,000 / year.

The annual fest's name is "Falak". It's conducted every year at the starting of April. Almost every book & journal will be available in the library and you can sit in the library during college hours. If your financial conditions are not good to purchase a book you can get your books for free from the library by giving them an application. The classrooms are very big. There are fans, windows, desks, charging points, lights etc. available in the classroom. The ground is very big to play various kinds of sports such as badminton, volleyball, football etc. Every day of the week there is some curricular activities held in the college. There are lots of clubs in the college for their development such as Finshala (Finance Society), Commerce Association, NSS, NCC, Women Development Cell, Enactus, Athena, Blood Donation Camp, Vaccination Booth etc.
