Remarks

In this college, Ug Admission will be done on the basis of merit i.e. 12 board marks till 2021 but from 20222 it will be done through CUCET i.e. Central University Common Entrance Test. All reservation benefits will be provided which is applicable by Central Government.

As a commerce student, the most preferable course is Bcom but in my 12th I don't have math as a subject that's why I took Bcom Prog instead of Hons. Almost 70/30 is the student ratio. And faculty members is highly qualified and educated and also very supportive in nature

Internships Opportunities

Encode is the internship cell of the college that provide internship opportunity both with a stipend and without stipend. Multiple profiles will be offered to students interested may apply for the same. But I can't do any internship except with quollab which is just 3 days internship program.

Placement Experience

Final year students of all courses are eligible for placement but for that, they must be registered with a placement cell to grab any such type of opportunities. The higher package is 21lac and the lowest package is 2.2 lac. Multiple profiles are offered but mostly in audit profiles. My plan is to work in KPMG as I got placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Sbsc is one of the colleges on campus that charge a very nominal fee i.e. 22150 for 3 years from students. Also, they provide various scholarships and Aid funds to needy students. No job will be provided by the college during your studies but you can do an internship.

Campus Life

Uddyam is the annual fest of the college which is organized by commerce society. Apart from this too much other fest will be organised by different societies throughout the year. College have big ground for football , volleyball, cricket , basketball, tennis and some other indoor game like TT , chess , carrom etc.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
