Remarks

I opted for Bcom hons. and eligibility of my course is that you should belong to commerce stream and should have studied maths as a subject in 11th and 12th. Also , i belonged to Scheduled Caste , so my SC certificate was verified in the college office. The admission process was smooth and hassle free and i don't think there might be any need for improvement in it.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I opted for this course because in this we get more exposure about commerce stream and we get to learn deep things about our subject in it. The faculty is hard working actually , they regularly monitor the students and their performance. Most of the teacher in our college are PhD and their teaching method is catchy and easily understandable, there is no difficulty in understanding the concepts. And the semester exams are conducted within a period of 6 months , and it's very easy to pass these exams if you are attentive in class.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Companies like Decathlon , CITA , Chegg , Upgrad, BYJU'S etc. offers both placement and intership opportunities to students, the roles in the intership are of less burden in respective of placement role , and the stipend offered is around 4000-2000 and it varies company to company. The projects under intership are for a limited time period , in this we get a particular task to do until the project ends.

Placement Experience

4

Mostly , in the last year of graduation the students become eligible for the campus placements but few companies offer job in their middle of graduation too depending on the potential of the student. Approximately 100 big and small company visited this year in our college for placement drive and the package the offer varies from 2.5 LPA to 12 LPA highest , and the profiles which are offered are Business Development, Accounting Associate , Financial Report Analysis , Sales and Marketing , E commerce , Digital Marketing , Research Analyst and many more. A good number of students get selected in placement drives depending on their potential and skills. My plan is to pursue for MBA in future.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of most of the courses in our college is affordable according to me , like on an average it's about 10,000 to 15,000 per year fees of all courses . My particular course's fees is approx 12,000 per year . Besides this , if you are from any other state or country , then your cost of study will obviously get increased because of accommodation and food expense. Also , our college provide various scholarship schemes in which you have to provide respective documents to the person in charge in office then you get the scholarship. About the job , it's like the interested students can apply for various intership and placement drives in college itself. These drives are regulated and managed by the PLACEMENT CELL of our college.

Campus Life

5

The annual fest of our college is named as TIDE and it's organised by the election winning team with coordination of college staff of college itself and it's conducted in the month of February or March , it's a 3 day fest. The other thing which is organised is INTERN O FIERA , it's a placement and intership fair organised by Placement Cell of the college and it's organised in February. Also , the books in the library are well maintained and there is lots of books available there and our library is so vast. The amenities in classroom might be little disappointing because of improper ventilation in summer season. Talking about sports and extra curricular activities , various inter college and inter university competitions are held regularly in our college. And , these are various active social groups and clubs that are run by students itself like Nimbus - English debating society , Vedanta - Hindi debating society , Pixelation - The photography society and many more

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
