I have applied for btech In computer sceince and it's provides very good placement. You can take admission from wbjee exam with having a admission fee 500 which you can get from www.wbjeeb.in official website of wbjee.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have a huge interest in computer sceince and engineering and it provides good placements. The student faculty ratio is 80:20. All the facilties are PhD graduates and from IIT and NIT. The are 4 internal assessment and 2 practical assessment.

Tata Consultancy Wipro Amazon Microsoft Mahindra tech Tata Steel Facebook Google all the multinational companies come to this college for taking various students from all the department and every year Tcs and Capgemini takes students in large number.

Placement Experience

The average package of the college is 6 lakhs and the highest package is 12 lakhs per annum. The students get eligible for internship from 2nd year and the jobs are offered to students in the 5 th aur 6 semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no fees hike in the college and the cost to study is 60000 for 4 years course. There are many scholarships provided to students from DRCC and state government. You can get job from many companies for tcs .

Campus Life

There are tech fest and annual fest every 6 months conducted by the seniors. There are usually conducted in month of June September and December. There is a huge central library which has a good books . Edc grp is most popular.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

BCET Durgapur.Good campus but bad faculty and placement opportunities.

I say this earlier. First of all my JEE rank was little bit low, so I can't get any govt college. And at that time the CSE fees in almost every private college is arround 4 lakhs. But they asked high donation. Which was not affordable by my family. So I choose this college. Also I hear all private colleges are same.we have to do everything by ourselves.
