Remarks

You have to score 75% in the twelfth board to be eligible for giving the exam the West Bengal joint entrance examination occurs every year once all over the India. The application fee cost is 500 which can easily be available on the official site.

Course Curriculum Overview

Computer Science and engineering is a very vast and deep course and today the demand for computer science students is at its peak. I am very passionate about data structures and Artificial Intelligence.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 62000 per year

Placement Experience

The students get eligible for internships for second-year students. The students are eligible or placed in their fifth or sixth semester. The companies like Tcs and all are coming to the college to recruit students.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am a first-year student so I don't know about the fees hike and I am not living in the hostel so I am not aware of it at all. The scholarship and all the things are available for students all across the West Bengal The Scholarships regarding DRCC and given by West Bengal.

Campus Life

There is an annual fest every year for the 2nd and third-year students for the students is first-year and fourth-year kids. They are usually conducted in the month of September, December, and May. There is a huge central Library for students.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

BCET Durgapur.Good campus but bad faculty and placement opportunities.

I say this earlier. First of all my JEE rank was little bit low, so I can't get any govt college. And at that time the CSE fees in almost every private college is arround 4 lakhs. But they asked high donation. Which was not affordable by my family. So I choose this college. Also I hear all private colleges are same.we have to do everything by ourselves.
