NSUT Review

Admission happens through two processes either by jee mains( for Indian students ) or DASA( for outside India students). You can apply through JAC Delhi which is a counseling process after your exam to take admission in Delhi-based colleges such as NSUT, DTU, IIIT Delhi, etc. Reservation like any other government college is the same. Plus there is an 85% reservation for Delhi based so for outside Delhi students like me taking admission is harder. Maybe some minutes things but the JAC Delhi process is better as compared to JOSSA as it gives candidates multiple chances to change the choices made so better flexibility.

I chose CSE because I wanted to learn about computer science(not coding u can learn that regardless of the branch). Faculty to the student is kinda screwed like it's not too poor but also not too good since the college has increased its seats quite a lot in recent times so the ratio has fallen. Just like every other reputed college quality of faculty is good but there may be exceptions. Pressure in college is not too high just regularly studying a little bit to do the work.

Internships are good even though the percentage of people getting internships are average but quite good considering the quality, companies that provide internships are sprinkler ,Google, Microsoft, and even Facebook.

Placements in the college is a pretty good average package of CSE is around 19 LPA. (not accurate only heard through seniors but pretty close to that number). There are various companies that are present during placement and internships period like Google, Microsoft, sprinkler, etc. Placements percentage is 90% My plan is to work for a little bit and understand the market and start my own journey.

The fees of the college are quite reasonable considering the placements opportunities this college provides Also, the college provides scholarships and fee waivers for low-income students also the campus itself has a bank associated with the student loan process.

Moksha is the annual fest organized by the students of the college it's a 3 day cultural and tech fest designed for the students to enjoy their college life. In the Recent one, KK and lost stories performed so yeah the fest was amazing. There is a central library on the campus and also a small one present in the hostel as well. There are tons of sports facilities present on the campus the only problem is restrictions in the hostel. There are tons of societies in the college like the 40s of them are there. There is tech, cultural, art, and debate various of them.

The room has a drawer, a desk ,a single bed and a fan, no cooler so get ready for Summers. Mess food is average and once a semester a special dinner is present where very good food is made. Hostels are available for outside Delhi students also for Delhi but only in rare cases like army or transfers.
