NSUT-Rising and improving everyday

I took JEE MAINS in 2021 and got a rank of 2648 in it. Anyone can get admission to the NSUT BTech course via JAC(Joint Admission Counselling) Delhi. Eligibility-One should have had Non-med in 11-12th for admission in the BTech course. Application form-Forms are generally released between the end of June -and August. Last year's forms were released in October-November after JEE ADVANCED due to covid. For further details, one can refer JAC DELHI website. Improvement in admission process-The results of different rounds was not released on the days specified by JAC. Also, the website crashed a few times.

I chose this course as I love maths and coding. This course comprises mostly of these subjects. Faculty: student ratio is1:150 approximately. Most faculty are PhD qualified and teaching methods are below average. Students have to do most of the work. Students have to study from online sources like YouTube, geeks for geeks etc. End term exams were taken after 3 months(from starting of the semester). The difficulty level was moderate.

Major companies include Facebook, D-shaw, Sprinkler, Codeforces etc. We should build at least 3-4 projects like library management system, Electricity management system. Build a highly professional CV and mention that you are open to learn new skills. Most students are placed in internships but students can skip them also.

From 3rd year students are eligible for campus placements. Major companies include Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Swiggy, Sprinkler, Blackstone etc. A few years back,8 students from NSUT got a staggering package of 1.25 Crore from Google. The average package for tech branches is around 17-18 lakhs per annum. In tech branches, it has a humbling record of 100 percent placements approximately. As of now, I'll like to do my master from abroad after completing BTech from NSUT

The course fees for the 1st year are 2,06,000. Course fees for the 2nd year are 2,19,000. Course fees for the 3rd year are 2,29,000. Course fees for the 4th year are 2,40,000. Total fees for 4 year BTech course in NSUT are 8,94,000 as of now. The course topper gets tution fees relaxation. Moreover, students with a family income of fewer than 6 lakhs can avail of scholarships on tution fees ranging from 25 to 100 percent.

The annual fest is Moksha which happened in March 2022 recently. Major attractions were renowned singer Kk and star comedian Biswa Kalyan Rath. It was a wonderful experience. The library is quite good and has lots of books and journals and one can issue any book if he/she has an NSUT I'd card. The halls are quite big and fully air-conditioned. The halls have large screens connected to a device on which the Professor teaches. NSUT has a cricket ground, nets, football ground, two basketball courts, volleyball court, kabaddi arena, tennis court, indoor badminton court and table tennis court. It also has a gym in the basement of the library with fully functional equipment. Many societies are run by students such as the Indian game theory society, Kalpana, Tatsam, Ashwamedh(drama society) etc.
