Remarks

A student must be above 45% in their academics and have a good score in wbjee or jee. I got admission through my WBJEE score, there is also direct admission available for this one need to visit the college and ask the respective staff. Once I got my wbjee result I started searching on the different websites about the college and the previous year cutoff according to that I applied to the college, and in my first round of counseling, I got NiT my stream was IT. On the given date I visited the college, went to the admission cell, and from there I collected the application form, there only I submitted all the documents and got admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I Opted for CSE and IT, from my rank I got IT. IT because I always have interest in computer subject. Our faculties are enough experienced and well educated and most importantly they are very friendly, they help us to clear our doubts. In covid situation also they maintained our class. For every subject, we have different teachers and for most of the subjects, we have more than one teacher, same for lab also. We have 2 slots of exam and one-semester exam, exams are totally based on the given lecture and note the teacher provided to us also if one has maintained the attendence then it'll not be tough to pass the exam. Just go through the lectures regularly.

Internships Opportunities

3

One company, Highradius visited our college to recruit students for the internship in the 5th semester. There were various roles offered by HRC, there were two-track business and tech. They also hire some students full-time (PPO was extended to good performers). The stipend during the internship was 14k/month and as a full-time employee - 8lpa. The internship duration was 1 year.

Placement Experience

4.5

From the 6th semester the on-campus placement starts, we also had our training before the placement. Almost 15-30 companies visit our college and placement is also good around 80-90% student got placed from IT dept. The highest package was 12lpa and the average was 4.5 LPA. After completing my B.tech I want to work in a company I got placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college provides scholarship and there is also a discount if your sibling is studying in the same college, other than that I don't have much idea. So the total fee will cost around 4lakh + there is 1200 examination fee every semester, the admission fee was 80,000 including 1st sem fee, so the fee structure is same as many private colleges. placement is also really good in our college around 80% student gets placed this year, the highest package goes above 10lpa, and average package is 4.5 LPA.

Campus Life

3

Every year we have a tech-fest popularly known as krintanj many students participate and won awards, cash prizes, etc. Kritanj is conducted in the month of either march or April. We also have our cultural fest i.e Navodya in the month of May and there are also many students who showcase their talent. Our college celebrates every festival. And also organize events. In the month of February, we have our annual sports, which included all kinds of sports and games. The library is not much big and only limited books are available. We also have Wifi but that doesn't connect.

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
