Course Curriculum Overview

Menchanical engineering is vast subject and has many fields in which students can master after completing bachelor's. It is one of the most demanding course of the time. Brilliant students can get good package after completion of course.

Internships Opportunities

We were given chance to select some of the top companies to do internship for a period of 3 months. I have gained great experience working with siemens for 3 months with all the latest technology.

Placement Experience

There were very few companies that visited for campus placement. Some of were MNCs. The eligibility criteria was set high so didnt got placed in campus placement.

College Events

We have one college festival ZEAL which is combination of all three tech cultural and sports. The fest is not the great very few students from other colleges participate in it.

Fees and Financial Aid

State government scholarship for minority students is available upto Rs 25000 per year. Loans can be availed interest free from government banks.

Campus Life

The campus is designed with grafti work all over the place. There are many place to hangout. There are less fights among department. There are many intra competitions in the colleges that take place.

Hostel Facilities

There are no hostels. The fees is the least compared to any other college in Mumbai. The food is great the canteen is common for both veg and non veg but u dont get to know as it is well ventilated.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students do not do ragging of juinor students. Infact they are very much co-operative. They will help you if they can at their best. You get a good exposure to whole college. The staff is one that understands their students completely except for few.

Faculty

The faculty has some of the most senior experienced in this field. Where as they do have some of not so good faculties as assistant professor.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

There are placements in the college, but the company select only few like from hundreds they select only 9 to 10 students which are capable enough according to the standard who have done internships and have some experience in their field as the companies don't want to teach them from the starting

Placement Experience:

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

SAKEC- best college ever

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.

I have taken admission in this college on the basis mht-cet enterance exam score . i have applied to multiple colleges through mht-cet counselling this college was one of them.The mht-cet counselling was having three rounds in the 2024 but one additional round was also conducted. In first round i was alloted the A.C Patil College of Engineering, Kharghar but it was more far from my home so i didt take admission in that college. In second round i was alloted to the Shree L.R.Tiwari College of Engineering it was also to far from my home but the main reason to not take admission in this college was that this college fees was affordable to me. and in the third round this college was alloted to me so this was my last option so i have taken admission in this college. the admission is conducted by the cet cell of maharashtra. the eligiblity is that we should have minimum 45% in your class 12th and should have an non-zero score in the mht-cet enterance exam.the most preferred course of the students are computer engineering, artificial intelligence and data science,Electronics and computer science...Read More

The college i choose this over othe rcolleegs are many factors like good environment and campus rith great social life.
