Remarks

I got admission by HSTES online counselling. For freezing the seat in college one has to pay an initial amount of 10000 which is then refunded after admission. Then you have to verify documents to the college admission branch and pay fees for admission. This is done by physically visiting the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course as agriculture is mainstream in country like India. Moreover there is less competition in ths field, also there is lot of scope in development in this field over years. All the faculty members are very cooperative. Faculty to student ratio is 1:6. The faculty are qualified. All the professors are PhD's in their respective courses from reputed institution and some AP's are Post Graduate (M.Tech). Teaching methods of most of the faculty is good. Exams are taken after every 6-7 weeks and passing the exams is really difficult due to strict checking. Also students are graded less as compared to other college.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Companies which come for placement are Mahindra&Mahindra, Eicher, Escort and many more tracto companies. They offer posts in sales department with a stipend of 30-35000. But growth is fast in this sector.

Placement Experience

4

All the students who want the placement are placed from the college. Rest of the students either opt for further studies or govt job. One is eligible for becoming Agricultural Engineer or Agriculture Field Officer or can go for banking in NABARD.

Fees and Financial Aid

As it is a govt. university so fees is minimal. even semesters fees is upto 9000 whereas odd semester fees is upto 4000. Tution fees here is minimal. Also student who scores above 7 OGPA gets a scholarship of Rs. 4000 for the semester. For SC ST candidates there is no fees also they get financial assistance from the govt.

Campus Life

5

There are no annual fests held. But diffrent kinds of trainings and camps are organised every year to boost up knowledge and practical knowledge is imparted to students. When it comes to library, university has one of the largest library in haryana. The Nehru Library has all kind of books and journals and enough seating for 2000+ students. Clasrooms are equiped with smart boards, LED's AC's and wifi. Giri Center is the place for sports activities. All kinds of sports from Badminton to Squash, Hockey, Cricket, Basketball. Individual games such as boxing are also there.

Hostel Facilities

5

Rooms are average conditioned, provided with a bed and a almirah. good ventilation is provided in rooms. Rooms are provided with balconies. Meal quality is really good. The best part about hostels is they are affordable and cheap. Yearly fees for hostel accomodation is Rs 800.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am in the computer science and engineering branch. I want to be a software developer and I am passionate about coding and I love to code that's why I am chosen this branch. The faculty members of my college are awesome and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They cooperate with students in every situation . they focus much on the weak student so they can also pass the exam. they use the blackboard and smart classes both to teach the student effectively. we have industrial exposure also. the well built spacious will have no importance if not for the wonderful faculty the college has. All are faculty members are highly knowledgeable and done their post graduation from one of the top colleges like IITS. and most of the teachers are GATE qualified and even it is not once. they are writing the exam regularly. so, if you prepare for the GATE exam, then you can get great help from them. they used to prepare us for the GATE exam, along with academics

I am a Delhite and my college is on outskirts of Delhi and also i being residing near du north campus used to think i will enjoy the same college life. but being into a professional (b.tech) course gave me a different view of college and its life. i came to know how to lead a professional ethic life, learnt some good meaningful things.college management is getting strict day by day for laws against students but the other tasks like things that need to be get done from peon are not getting done. ac's dont work even after complaints. in total the college needs a great improvement else it will keep running the business with no fruits.
