I scored 186 cutoffs in Tamilnadu State board of education, I applied for tnea counselling and I filled my order of choice of colleges and courses, In that, I got Seat in PSG College of technology in BE production engineering, I got a seat in general quota tnea application is rs 5000 deposit.

I'm interested to pursue in a mechanical stream, production comes under the mechanical stream so I opted for this course that too in PSG College of technology, I chose. There are more faculty with high valued PhD degree, they have more knowledge and they share with the students, semester exams are at a moderate level, application-based questions are asked in semester examinations.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies such as Mahindra and Mahindra, Hyundai, and so on offer internship with stipends, colleges offer funds for projects and ideas, and also support the student for the project and ideas, students can opt for external internships also.

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements, nearly 80 percent of students are getting placed in campus interviews, many of the students are opting for a master's degree in the same college as well as abroad.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is very low when compared to other colleges, here the fees structure for being a degree is 25k to 80k including all fees, hostel fees depend on room type between 70k to 90k. Many scholarships are provided in the college as well as external scholarships are also provided.

Many facilities were available in this college like laboratories, industries, sports, ground, basketball court, tennis court, cricket ground, gym, laundry and etc, all websites are created by students of this college and run by students, many clubs are available in this college.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are good, and the news is also good but there is a token system for mess there is no biriyani in the menu, there are many pg hostels near the college and the rents are like 7000rs per month including mess

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Psg college of technology real experience

I had applied psg,cit,thapar I got confirmed from these three but the main reason I choose psg is course curriculum and the internship it will help you to gain good knowledge and place in good company so comparing other colleges psg is better The admission process of my course there is 4 courses of 5years integrated msc (ds,cs,ss,tcs ) To join in these there are 3rounds 1.12th percentage 2.entrance exam. 3.interview Your 12th score is must be more than 85 The entrance exam is based on 11th and 12th mathmatics And the interview has some technical questions and mathmatics Iam not feared about 1st and 2nd round because my 12th score is very good and Iam well in mathmatics but the 3rd interview round was very good experience for me I had a good chance to prove my skills I had little fear after completing I got 3rd position in the entrance exam Finally it was a great experience for me...Read More
