Remarks
I gave an entrance test, which asked questions of 10+2 level and eligibility was PCB or PCM. Application forms opened in May on the official website, basic details were filled in and fees were 500 INR and the application process was open for almost a month. The improvement from my side would be pre-releasing the syllabus, so one would know what the course is all about.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested in chemistry from 10+2, so I enrolled, plus the campus is in my hometown. The faculty includes very renowned scientists who teach you from the first year itself. 100 seats are there, most female candidates are enrolled 90:10 ratio. The faculty is very qualified, teaching methods are good as well. MSTs and semester exams occur after 2 months and 4 months respectively, exams were a little difficult to pass.
Placement Experience
You become eligible in your last year means the 5th semester. BYJU's, Aakash institute, and IDS infotech limited came when I was a student. 6lpa was offered by Byjus Aakash gave 7lpa and IDS was a mass recruiter and gave 2.5 LPA, profiles were the associate content creator and teaching jobs, etc,15 to 30% of students were placed. I plan to pursue master's.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is quite normal, and the fee hike is not that recurrent and it takes almost 50k per year. A lot of scholarships for reserved candidates and merit holders. I didn't get a job by campus placements as of now.
Campus Life
There are a lot of extracurricular activities for students to take part in, there are a lot of tech fests and youth fests, and other programs which occur every year. The library has a huge collection of books, all sorts of journals, and research papers. Classrooms are good and research labs are well furnished. Sports events too occur once or twice a year and have a lot of options.
