For eligibility, you should be given any entrance exams like jee mains or Wbjee. You can application form online on the site of Bbit. In this college, reservation is only for west Bengal students and the trusts of this college provide some extra scholarships.

Course Curriculum Overview

Internal exams are taken on time and you have to present at exam time. These marks are considered for your semester exams and you have to study for exams and you have to revise the topics discussed in the class. Then you can easily pass the exams.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like TCS, and Wipro offers job like software Engineer. For internship, you should have knowledge of programming languages like C, C++, Python, Java..etc For projects you must have developed some apps.

Placement Experience

The placement of this college is quite good. Almost 90 per cent of students from the computer science branch is getting placement in companies like TCS, Wipro, and Flipkart. After 3 rd semester, you are eligible for an internship. After completing my degree my plan is to become a full-stack developer in companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Google ..etc

This college is ranked by NIRF. So on the basis of these, you get the scholarship scheme like Bihar student credit card, post-matric scholarship which is only for students who belong to Bihar. And Swami Vivekanand scholarship Which is for west Bengal students

There is no specific page that is run by Bbit students. there are some pages that are run by students like the cricket page BBIT cricket page and some cultural program pages. and there is the official page of Bbit which is managed by the faculty of Bbit.

Hostel Facilities

There are 6 bedrooms and separate bathroom rooms available. there are also available 2,3, and 4 bedded rooms and it provides water and average quality food in the hostel mess. For admission to the hostel, you have to enrol at the main office then you are allowed in the hostel and you can also check the rooms by taking the permission of the hostel warden.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

So first talk about the admission procedure : there are two ways to get into this college for btech admission is by JEE and WBJEE entrance exam. Ok taking account of these exam ranks you can take admission into this college and the average rank for CSE branch by WBJEE is under 20-25k.
