Remarks
The eligibility for this course is a bachelor's degree in sociology with atleast 55% marks from any recognized university in India. The application form for this course comes on its official website www.ddugu.ac.in the month of April every year. The application fee is 800 for this course. Reservation benefits are provided to SC/ST/PH categories students.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because it has a variety of opportunities. I chose this course for my dreams. About 20 professors are currently in my department of sociology so 1 professor is for 10 students. Their qualification is very high and has years of research experience. Their teaching methods are different and unique. Exams are held on an annual basis and exams are of medium level.
Placement Experience
Students in their one semester before last semester become eligible for campus placement. Scholar Academy Bangalore was the company that visited recently in my campus for placement. A maximum package of 6 lakh per annum and the lowest package of 3 lakhs per annum were offered. The average package is 2.5 lakh per annum. Management Trainee and Human resource executive were two roles offered to students in placement. Campus placement percentage is 70% no. I will start my preparation after getting the degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is very simple and transparent. The fee is charged on annual basis and paid a total amount of 3500 at the time of counseling. The fee is paid through the campus website www.ddugu.ac.in. Overall 7000 fee is applicable for the whole course. We get a scholarship of Rs.7000 per year under the up scholarship program name Saksham.
Campus Life
Different programs organize every year. Convocation ceremony is the name of one of them. Fests are organized mainly in December month. Books are available in the library sufficient. Every category's books are available in this library. The classroom has every comfort facility. Sports and extracurricular activities are performed here.
