Remarks

Students should have Maths accounts business studies economics and English in 12th. You can find application form on Delhi Universities' official website and you can also submit fees there. We face many glitches while paying fees through net banking methods that can be improved.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I have a personal interest in the subjects which are involved in this subject. The faculty is good 70 students are in my section and overall 350 students are there in my course. Teachers are nice and helpful and they clear all your queries. Exams are done semester wise and they are quite tough to pass.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like zomato, ibm, amazon are in contact with our college for internships. Roles are given according to your knowledge and caliber and also stipend is given according to it. Like one student of our college got an internship from amazon and his work was to verify the client's profile and his stipend was around 10000.

Placement Experience

From the 5th semester students are eligible for placements. Companies like Genpact and HCL visited and around 6 7 offers were made by them. Highest package of 3 lakh and the average package of 2 lakh offered by companies and profiles like HR and managers offered by them. Around 40% of students got placements. I will give govt. exams after getting a degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't have any scholarships. Fees are according to a course like 15000 fees is of my course. And for overall three years is around 45000. We don't get any jobs on campus but they should provide part-time jobs for students so they can be financially independent.

Campus Life

There are many fests like Aghaz for the societal department and commercium for commerce department students and many more. They are mostly conducted between February and march. There are no amenities in the classroom but they should provide atleast one AC in class. There are many sports like football volleyball and kabaddi. There are many clubs run by students like Navrang and Rudra etc.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I was given this college on the basis of the score in the CUET Exam which i gave after my 12th. It was a tough exam i would say because compiting with 20 Lac plus students for just a seat in DU is not an easy task. While preparing the prefference sheet and combinations for the college in the admission process was a confusing task. So i select all the cobinations of courses and colleges which i was eligible and then i also select my course and college, but i never thought that i would get it, still though i was happy that i get to study in one of the DU college. St Stephens obviously as for Science, its one of the best DU college.
