The best thing about this college is its teachers and professors, they are highly trained and knowledgeable they have profound knowledge of their subject and also impart it efficiently to the students. Besides teaching, they also motivate students to learn and excel. They are highly supportive there is also an enter-mentee concept in the college where mentee seeks the help of their mentors in any regard it is easy to pass semester exams.

The fees of the course are course wise. Each course has different fees. The course fee of CSE is 118000 first year and from the second year 108000 10000 extra in the first year for security. It has many scholarships available too which are affiliated with govt.

Fest is conducted yearly It has a library, books are available in the library and we can search for any book in the library it has all the books. It conducts cricket, football, volleyball, and basketball. It has many clubs and groups too. Seniors are very helpful and supportive. They will help you in every moment when you are in trouble.College pays attention to the social well being of students too . Every year a fest takes place that is one of the biggest college fests happening . Staffs are very supportive to students in all regards

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

BCET Durgapur.Good campus but bad faculty and placement opportunities.

I say this earlier. First of all my JEE rank was little bit low, so I can't get any govt college. And at that time the CSE fees in almost every private college is arround 4 lakhs. But they asked high donation. Which was not affordable by my family. So I choose this college. Also I hear all private colleges are same.we have to do everything by ourselves.
