Remarks

Class 12 to pass with a 50 per cent mark. The admission form will be released by the Ravenshaw University on its official site. No, the admission process has been the same for quite a lot of years. Reservation is there.

Course Curriculum Overview

All the faculty have done PHD and cleared Net and JRF. The exam will be conducted in a six-month gap. Every year 2 exams in an interval of six months. The exam is average. Not much difficult. The teaching method is quite good.

Internships Opportunities

Every year Deloitte, Infosys and some other companies come. They conduct exams and interviews and give internships and then also give jobs if satisfied. The examination process contains a coding test, an aptitude test and last personality test. Mine tree company owner is from our college.

Placement Experience

During 6 semesters students become eligible for campus placement. Parle g, TCS, and Deloitte are some of the companies which come every year. The highest package 2000000 per annum and the average is somewhere about 600000 per annum. More than 70 per cent of students are getting placed. I will be getting a good job I guess.

Fees and Financial Aid

It is Government College so fees hike doesn't happen frequently. If you choose regular ug courses it's very less but for the integrated course, it starts from 20000 to 50000 per year. The fees for one year are taken in every odd semester.

Campus Life

All types of sports are here. Extracurricular activities from dancing to mono acting everything is done here in a grand manner. Red empire and Ravenshaw cultural society are some of the social groups available on Instagram.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Courses and instructors are good, but don't expect a rocking campus life here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this college without planning as I couldn't get a desired seat in IIT. But I think it was for good. The course is a wonderful primer on the path of becoming a scientist. Compared to other colleges, IISER Berhampur has a quite good faculty: student ratio. But most of them are pretty good as people and as teachers. We manage to conduct all classes without fail. But I'd like to see an increase in the number so that the research area can be broadened. The faculty here have all completed their Ph.D. and postdoc and all have some good prior experience in research and teaching. I like most of the instructors that have taught me except for a few one or two. The exam schedule is given right with the calendar release of each semester before the semester starts. Sometimes there might be changes in the schedule but we are informed around 2-3 weeks earlier in that case. Exams are not hard to pass if you attend classes and study sincerely. Questions are not asked beyond the concepts being taught.

Placement Experience:

After the summer internship. The college started giving campus placement training and during the month of September, students got placement already. Companies like TATA AIG, Collegedunia, Federal Bank, Delloite, ADP, TCI, SIS, HDFC AMC. IDFC BANK. Practo, ADVARISK, AXIS BANK. Property pistol came and took a maximum of students. The highest package was offered by international companies like property pistol with 22 lac CTC and average being 5lacs. Mostly the profile was on sales and marketing. only a few fintech companies could recruit students. Till now around 96% of students are placed in different domains and already started working. I am fortunate enough to get placed in the FEDERAL bank with 10lac CTC and as a fresher joining such a big company will be extremely grateful to the college and its placement team. They personally look after students drawback by the feedback they get from the recruitment teams and suggest where to improve and give a number of opportunities to seat for the company.

All are good,but only fooding quality is below the level.And also it does not have any playground available to play outdoors games.only it have not a playground but this college have good class room,WiFi campus, Computer centre,canteen, language lab and hostel are there.

Ravenshaw univerrsity history is more historic then other colleges and institutes. If you are lucky then you will get the admission into this. Other private and othr colleges you can get admitted by scoring avergae mark or with good amount of money but to get into Ravenshaw only your very good marks and luck is needed for it.
