Excellent College

The candidate who qualified jee main with a good score and rank can opt for this course. As I m from Odisha, I registered in the Ojee portal for this whole process application fees were around Rs -350 and the application dates are from November 1 to 16 as this was COVID time generally it occurs in August. I am an Obc candidate but in Odisha, there is no such benefits or quota for Obc that's why I was eligible for this course in general. If the admission fees should be a little less then it would benefit all types of students who cannot afford this amount.

I opted for this course because in this rank there is no good branch I have no choice other than this and also my chemistry is strong and also it has a bright future. As much I saw I thought that the qualification of faculty is he or she should do MSc and PhD. The teaching method is very good of all the teachers and also the faculty members are so friendly clear all the doubts during the class Maximum 4 months as it is COVID time otherwise 6 months.

The internship opportunities are good if anyone is interested to go with a stipend and without also. As I am in the first-year first semester I have not a lot of ideas about these placements and internship opportunities but our teachers are telling us about these opportunities and also told us that if u r interested to do so then u can go it is a vast field.

For BTech, it is from the 3rd-year end and for int MSc students it is from the 4th year last. Companies like pharmaceuticals, Infosys Dr Reddy come to visit. The highest package is 4800000and average is 700000. About 70percent of students got placement. If the companies would not offer a good package then I will prepare for gate and csir net, BARC tifr.

I think it is high as compared to other government colleges. before I came to out I was studying in MPC autonomous college baripada there the fees are so less during the registration time they took only 1650 rupees .but here the fees during ojee registration is 10000 which is very high as I think E medhabruti scholarship for the meritious students and many more for the poor students and sc, st students.

OUTR has very good opportunities if anyone is interested in sports and extracurricular activities. The campus itself has a basketball court, badminton, and volleyball, court and also after a certain interval, it conducts tournaments with other universities. Annual fests such as zarzuela, appreigo, adieux, and sayonara held tentatively in April month The university has a Library and all types of books are available the students who cannot afford books study from the library and the sitting arrangement is also there the students study there in the discipline. The classroom is clean the bench desk is also arranged nicely the infrastructure is also very good which makes it decent. There is a social group called ewb club group in which college helps the primary students in education and also financially. some students also went there for teaching different subjects. there are many clubs too like for dance it is tda for acting amuza etc

The facilities provided in the room are good but there is one drawback when there is a power cut the room becomes completely dark at least they should give an inverter connected to a single light. The meals are so good they are giving 3times meals in a day. And the menu was also very good. Yes, there is a registration process for the hostel firstly we have to deposit 13000 then they took 5330 per semester for the hostel seat rent and after that the meal money we have to deposit separately. I think it is high. None.
