Remarks

Its a private college hence fee structure is definitely more expensive compared you that of govt colleges but still it is quite affordable in terms of facilities availed and in respect to other private colleges. The new campus has been recently constructed close to previous one on the same premise. The infrastructure is really top notch n praise worthy. Only veg food provided in canteen.

Entrance Preview

No such entrance test were required. The admission rests on a student's class 12 marksheet. I presume that the cutoff marks is around 60% Moreover fees concession is also awarded to several meritorious students.

Placement Experience

3.5

Wasn't in a professional course. But as far as u have heard and observed myself as a student. Some big companies like Accenture, tata consultancy services came.

College Events

Many intra college fest's occur throughout the year like debates extempore dance music etc. An annual gala is conducted every year in the month of January/February which is well perceived by all.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
