A great college to experience quality teaching and ambiance

You need to score a good rank to get admission to this college. Both Jee Main and OJEE candidates can apply for this college. For early application, you have to visit the college physically and collect the form regarding the seat booking process, or else normally through a counseling process. Obviously, candidates under the reservation category will get benefits during admission respective to their reservation caste and also in fees structure both in tuition fees and hostel fees. The administration is very helpful regarding the whole admission process, no need to worry about this, they will guide each and everything if needed. The candidate needs to score a minimum of 60% in 10th and 12th to get a chance at admission. And must have PCM in their 12th examination.

I did choose mechanical because of my passion for this branch. And before getting admission I went to college for a review about the college, labs are well equipped with all required machinery including advanced technologies. So, this was also a point of choosing the mechanical branch in this college. Excellent quality faculties are present in every branch. All of them are well educated and experienced in teaching. The average of them is more than 10+ years of experience. The student and Faculty ratio is also very good. Maximum faculties are from IITs. They did MTech and Ph.D. Trident is famous for its teaching quality and ambiance of learning. You can get a great quality learning and ambiance of reading and gaining knowledge. Every faculty focuses more on providing practical knowledge along with theoretical knowledge. This college comes under the Biju Pattnaik University of Technology, which holds a great rank under AICTE. So here all the exams are a bit more difficult than others.

The college mainly refers students to do internships outside, there may be some paid internships, but not all. The internship has a huge role in placements, mainly if you have done some internships in core sectors on in something regarding designing software, in these cases you will get sure benefit during college campus. Also, IT-related internships help to get a good job in IT companies.

From the 6th semester, students can sit on placement drives, but in this case, all students from each branch cant sit. From the 6th semester, some selected students from the selected branches can sit for campus drives. But from the 7th semester, onwards everyone can sit on placement drives. Infosys, Wipro, Cisco, Cognizant, TCS, etc are all great companies visited for recruitment drives. Over 100+ companies come for campus drives. The highest 9LPA was provided during our time, and on average 3LPA was provided. Almost 85% of students got placed.

According to our time, now the fees structure will obviously change, but it will not be that much. Max to max 10000 to 15000 will hike per year basis. Which is nothing according to other renowned colleges. In our time also the fees structure was not much according to other colleges. The level of teaching quality it provides and the overall ambiance of campus and flooding are much more economical. Other colleges of this level askes a much higher price for both tuition fees and hostel fees. You can get Govt Sponsered Scholarships and also can get an EWS quota for financial support. The further college also provides an installment payment system to pay College fees to help students to reduce their financial burden. I got selected by two Companies from college. Both were core companies. College brings a huge number of companies for on-campus recruitment including both Core and Software.

College Fests are named as TRIFEST and TECHFEST. These are mostly conducted in January and February months. Trident has the largest library according to other colleges that come under BPUT. Huge numbers of books are available in all categories. The best part is, you don't have to think about purchasing any books regarding your course of 4 years. All are provided by the college itself. You can go and read any time except during class hours. It provides a great calm and cool ambiance to concentrate on your study. Trident provides smart classrooms fitted with projectors. All rooms are under CCTV cameras to avoid mishaps. It conducts annual sports at a huge level. On-campus, you can find a cricket ground, volleyball ground, and basketball ground.

Here you can find 3 bedded or 4 bedded rooms. Rooms are provided with one bed, one study desk, locker for every individual. All-time aquaguard drinking water is also provided on every floor. There is a total of 3 hostels, 2 for boys and 1 for girls. all of them are 4 storied buildings. Trident ensures Ragging Free ambiance as their main priority for the security of students. Alcohol and smoking are strictly prohibited inside hostels and on college campuses. Hostel meal is very hygienic and of good quality. Even on the last Sunday of every month, a special meal is provided to all. The registration process for a hostel is very easy and it is mainly done during the admission process itself. The quality of food and facilities it provides is very economical according to other colleges. The hostel also comes under CCTV surveillance along with each floor. Lift is also there. The locality is a bit costly if you go for PG or rented rooms, cause the college is situated in the Infocity area.
