To get admission in any college in Gujarat you need to clear your 10+2, for specific engineering college 10+2 Sci in PCM, the student who cleared his 10+2 has to appear for GUJCET which is a competitive exam and plays a major role in admission once getting both results of 10+2 and GUJCET a rank is being assigned to a particular student, rank shows his position in Gujarat, And A committee Called ACPC will allot you this rank and we have to collect a code from any near bank and register ourselves on acpc website so we can apply for different colleges with different courses according to rank and the rank which colleges have for particular course students get their admission. And for reserved students cutoff of rank might be less than general.

I took mechanical engineering, it's a core branch and I have an interest in various areas of this Field, moreover, faculty to students ratio is around 1:10, and the faculty are highly qualified many are passed out from IITs and also came through GOV exam like gpsc as all of them are class 1,2 officers. Each term consists of 6 months in which 2 exams came midterm conducted by College and the end Sem conducted by University. Both were not tough by regular studying we can clear it.

Still, internship opportunity is not successfully provided, usually offered to students who get in the Top 10, else we have to find by ourselves, still, some clubs like LAA are trying to build a portal where everyone can get an internships from different firms

Students start getting placement from the end of 7th Sem, for core branch many companies like a torrent, Adani, TCS, atul, reliance, l&t, etc company visit every year, the highest package offered by company where around 8-9lpa around 50% students gets placement each year, I am also preparing to get a good place on Campus only.

Fees are nominal like 1500rs per 6month, scholarship are many but I belong to general category don't have much assistance from it, reserved students can enjoy many benefits from it and also students in the hostel also have much help from scholarship, Many scholarships are from gov of Gujarat many are also from private, some gov scholarship is mysy.

College consists of many clubs and around a year many Tech fest and cultural fest were conducted by every clubs, the library is not up to date as it consists of many outdated books and access and its process is very lengthy, classroom infrastructure is good and sports activities are also good as we have nearly a ground for various sports, for any clubs info one can get from the website of LDCE
