Remarks

The college requires entrance exams like jee or wbjee. Admission is simple students can go to the college administration to get an application fee. The student needs to be a student of science in classes 11 & 12.

Course Curriculum Overview

The exams are very different & copy checking is also very difficult. The teachers are too much qualified with good interaction with the students. The student-teacher ratio is 62:1. The Computer science course is very interesting with knowledgeable & interactive teachers.

Internships Opportunities

Companies and roles are:- Paypal - junior developer - 5 lakh / annum Wipro - software engineer - 8 lakh / annum Companies provide high packages to the candidate. The students are able to sit in campus placement from 3rd year.

Every year many students get placed in the top companies of the world like Google, Microsoft, PayPal, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, TCS, HCL, byjus, and many more. The placement score is 85-95%. The average package is 5 lakh per annum.

The fee of the BTech course is very high. The fee keeps increasing daily. The fee for BTech in cse ranges from 4 lakh to 7 lakh. And 2.5 lakh to 4 lakh for other courses. The college also provides many different types of scholarships.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
