Entrance Preview

I took CAT and I got 86 Percentile. I always wanted to pursue MBA as I am from a business family and I chose this college because It its one of the best college under I.P University.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is being followed on the norms of IP University and I must say this college has one of the Best faculties.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like ICICI, HDFC, Asian Paints, Philips came. I got selected by ICICI and I got a stipend of INR 5000.

Placement Experience

Almost 95% batch got placed. Companies Like WNS, ICICI, HDFC, Ciena, Woodland, DLF, P&G, Berger Paints. Highest package was 7.50 Lacs P.A.

College Events

College celebrates its Freshers party, alumni meets, Convocation ceremonies. These three are the biggest rest there are many. At freshers party generally some known singers come and perform live.

Campus Life

Campus lives are always cool. The gender ratio was like 60:40 (Boys:Girls). College used to participate in many inter colleges, inter states debates, sports competition. We had our college cricket team which won many competitions. Labs were upto the mark and had all latest facilities.

Alumni/Alumna

Having seniors are always good. They can guide with all the good and bad things of your college World. Yes ragging was upto the acceptable marks. Just fun which I also enjoyed as a fresher.

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.
