I chose B.Com so that i can pursue my dhartered accountancy course i chose nerul branch because my father insisted.
Course Curriculum Overview
Not fair in attendance they just show they are strict but don't follow equally to all students. The present principal Mrs.Geeta, she is unfit for that post.It has a very poor working office staff which barely helps the students and not at all cooperative. They do not have the knowledge about their own office work. I heard the management part of this college functions very well. I think it is just the B.Com stream which is neglected.
Internships Opportunities
Well i didn't attend any of the internship as i was already occupied with my CA articleship. Some major companies had visited the college and gave a good experience on industry knowledge.
Placement Experience
The interview rounds and major companies conducting interviews is a very good experience.I also attended the campus interviews. A nominal fee was charged for the same.
College Events
Many fest were celebrated. The students arrangements are fabulous. One of our college's major event is SIESONS were students from all over city participate. Its a overwhelming experience.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, I availed a scholarship but by Government of Maharashtra and not from College. They fairly aided in details of the scholarship.
Hostel Facilities
Very untidy, dirty all sought of uncleanness. The hostels students find flies and hairs in their food. Unsafe for the students. They all were thrown out without any prior notice in the year 2012. Some even face sexual harassment.
Exam Structure
The Library staff suck at their work, unfair treatment. On exam days one needs to stand in a long queue to get books which is time consuming.
Faculty
Faculty was changed during my tenor. I don't know how on earth they select dumb professors over good one's and continue the same professor with the other subjects. Only our economics professor, Mrs. Koel, justified her post. Rest all were dumbs.
